Assistant General Secretary
Jacqueline King has a diverse background within the fields of industrial relations, work health and safety, and skills and training.
She was appointed Assistant General Secretary in February 2020.
She has worked at a high level with state and national unions and peak bodies, and within Government leading, managing, and campaigning, as well as in policy and legislative development.
Throughout her career, Jacqueline has worked with a number of state unions, including the AMWU and the FSU, as well as the Queensland Council of Unions and the Australian Council of Trade Unions in organising, industrial, education and campaign, and leadership roles.
She has also worked in numerous government roles, and with an industrial relations taskforce.
